PATRICK MCCARTHY, a story driven WRITER & EDITOR, solves creative riddles while drinking his own weight in coffee.

Hi.  I’m a film & video editor who writes and a writer who edits.  Part creative director.  Part producer.
I’ve collaborated with many different clients in the last 13 years.  Artists, agencies, direct to client with local & global brands, production companies,
and a lot of projects that fall somewhere in the middle.
Cheers.

This short film was quite a journey with lots of moving parts and players. I’m grateful to have collaborated and worked on this unique project.

Narrated by renowned actor, and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Forest Whitaker…

LaLa’s World

This short film was created for WOMANITY PROJECT, a nonprofit multimedia platform producing media content and workshops to shed a light on cultural and gender stereotypes.

It features LaLa Zannell, a lead organizer in the trans community. Lala’s journey is a unique story of challenges, love and support that differs from the victim’s narrative that we often hear in the media.

Silhouette Sessions

an intimate musical showcase

What I Did:

Is there anything better than live music and a great crowd? I played many roles during this frequent Monday musical showcase. I created the opening credits. Sometimes producing and creative direction, sometimes editing, a bit of gaffing, those are even my drums in the Hinds performance. Here are 3 of many awesome Monday nights.
Produced by RONIN, hosted by Carousel (formally Moondog NYC).
